Me and my Husband celebrated our wedding at Setters last Saturday. It was by far the most perfect day, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue and wonderful team at Settlers. Abigail is amazing she was so kind and caring through the whole experience. From the first meeting until the day she was always prompt in her helpful replies and of making our vision come to life. The ceremony area is stunning, we chose the below garden ceremony area and it was perfect on the summery day with nice shelter from the trees. Cocktail hour was so much fun in the upper lawn and we were looked after with canapés and drinks getting brought to us by the team. Though the schedule went right out the window the team rolled with everything and it turned out to be the most amazing day. All our guests are still raving about the wonderful place and food!

We had our wedding at Settlers Country Manor on Thursday and couldn’t be happier with the experience.
From the very beginning, the team were incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Our guests were blown away by the setting, and we received so many compliments about how beautiful and well-kept everything was.
Originally, our ceremony was planned to be held outside, but due to bad weather it had to be moved indoors. The staff handled the change so seamlessly. When we arrived, everything was already set up beautifully and with such care. It still felt just as magical and special, and we’re so grateful for how smoothly they managed the transition.
The entire day ran perfectly thanks to the amazing staff, who were so attentive and went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. The food was delicious and the service was top notch
The atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for.
A special thank you to Abigail and the team for making the whole process so easy and enjoyable. We’re so grateful for everything and would highly recommend Settlers Country Manor to anyone looking for a magical wedding venue.

We booked a table for Sunday lunch for four people. We two arrived slightly later than our lunch partners and were greeted with a very friendly "pleased to see you" smile by one of the staff. Informed our friends were already seated the 'greeter' casually asked if the lunch was celebrating anything in particular and, equally as casually, we replied it was a small birthday lunch. The food was excellent, all of it - without exception - the staff were so very efficient, smiling and friendly, despite having three separate very large groups to contend with at the same time and were very attentive. Service was excellent and we were able to linger without being hurried. The portions were overly adequate and so very well presented. At the end of the meal arrived a plate with Macaroons, chocolate fudge cake with a lit candle and 'Happy Birthday' cleverly written in chocolate on it for the Birthday girl. This was without it being requested, they just remembered the original conversation. We had not been to Settlers for some 20 years and it was such a pleasant surprise to see just what an excellent restaurant it now is. We could not fault it and will certainly visit again .... next week in fact! We can highly recommend it.
