Settlers Country Manor is an established wedding reception venue, providing a dedicated space for seated banquet dining, speeches, entertainment, and celebrations following your ceremony. Many couples choose to host both their ceremony and reception onsite at our venue, allowing guests to transition from formal vows into dinner service, toasts, and dancing within the same location.

Our spacious  ballroom supports a range of reception layouts from intimate gatherings to large banquet-style celebrations, with in-house coordination available to assist with seating arrangements, audio setup for speeches, reception styling, and dance floor preparation throughout the evening.

Wedding receptions at Settlers Country Manor are supported by a range of hosting facilities designed for seated dining, guest seating arrangements, speeches, bar service, and evening entertainment. From seating layouts and sound setup to dance floor arrangements, the reception space can be tailored for both intimate weddings and larger celebrations.

01 Flexible Space & Seating Capacity

Our reception space can be configured for seated banquet dining, guest tables, speeches, and dance floor placement, accommodating intimate gatherings of 30 through to large receptions of up to 400 guests. Three alfresco patios, including a covered outdoor bar area, provide additional space for pre-dinner drinks, guest mingling, or evening breakout areas throughout your reception.

02 Reception Hall

Our reception hall features soaring ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and elegant architectural detailing, with tall French arched glass doors opening onto the garden for guest access throughout the evening. The reception space includes a dedicated dance floor, professional sound and lighting, and styling options for the bridal table, including a fairy light backdrop or large LED screen. The white marble buffet tables complement the reception setup for buffet and plated dining service, while the indoor fireplace and full air-conditioning help keep guests comfortable throughout the reception.

03 Decoration Options

We provide a curated selection of décor items included in your package, allowing you to style guest tables, the bridal table, cake display, and reception backdrop to suit your celebration. Available pieces include centrepieces, easels, cake tables, tablecloths, runners, chair sashes, vases, silk florals, candle holders, charger plates, mirrors, signage, and draping, all of which can be arranged within your layout for seated dining and speeches. You’re also welcome to bring your own decorative elements, with our in-house team available to assist in preparing your reception space ahead of guest arrival.

04 Catering and Culinary Services

A key part of any wedding reception is the dining experience, and we provide on-site catering for both plated set menus and banquet-style buffet service. Meals are prepared and served in-house to accommodate seated guest dining, with options available for dietary requirements across large receptions. Buffet service is presented on our white marble tables with refined gold detailing, supporting efficient service flow throughout dinner and ensuring all guests are comfortably catered for during the reception.

05 Bar Services

Bar service is available throughout your reception, offering a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to accompany guest arrival, dinner service, speeches, and evening dancing. Couples may also include bespoke signature cocktails to suit their theme. Our in-house team manages beverage service across the timeline to support a smooth transition between dining, toasts, and entertainment for you and your guests.

06 Audio-Visual Equipment

Our reception venue is equipped with in-house audio-visual support for speeches, MC announcements, entertainment, and evening dancing. This includes a professional sound system, wireless microphones for toasts, and reception lighting such as moving head dance floor lights, laser effects, and a smoke machine for the first dance and open floor. A 20-square-metre LED screen is also available for slideshows or video presentations during dinner service or as part of your reception.

07 Reception Table Options

At Settlers Country Manor, we offer both round guest tables and long banquet-style tables to support a range seating plans and dining layouts. Round tables are well suited for intimate group seating during dinner service, while long banquet tables accommodate larger receptions and formal head table arrangements for speeches and toasts. All tables are arranged in advance by our in-house team to align with your seating plan and ensure efficient service flow throughout the reception.

  • A full storage of décor pieces also features vases, silk florals, candle holders, charger plates, mirrors, signage, draping, and more.

  • Private bridal room, complete with bathroom and dressing area.

  • Fairy light backdrops, ambient lighting, fairy light curtains, and/or LED screen wall positioned behind the bridal table for speeches and toasts.

  • Dedicated hardwood dance floor with moving head lights and laser lighting.

  • In-house sound system and wireless microphones for reception speeches, MC announcements, and music.

  • Present table and wishing well.

01 Couple's Grand Entrance

Begin your reception with a grand entrance from the garden courtyard through the fountain and French arched doors into your reception space. This moment can be supported by our in-house sound system, reception lighting, and optional cold sparks machine, allowing your MC or DJ to coordinate your entrance as part of the evening programme before dinner service and speeches commence.

02 Speeches and Toasts

Speeches and toasts form an important part of a wedding reception, and we provide in-house audio-visual support to ensure guests can clearly hear each speaker. Wireless microphones are available for MC announcements and speeches, while a 20-square-metre LED screen can be used for slideshows or video presentations during dinner service or between reception courses.

03 Dinner Reception

Choose from formal seated dining with a plated set menu or banquet-style buffet service as part of your reception dinner. Our space supports both round guest tables and long banquet-style layouts to suit your seating plan and service requirements. 04 Cake Cutting

A reception wouldn’t be complete without the cake cutting. Whether you choose to make it a highlight of the evening or a simple, elegant moment following speeches or during dessert service, the choice is yours. We provide a charming wine barrel cake table, along with cake knives and a dedicated in-house cake-cutting service. Your wedding cake will be cut and served alongside our dessert buffet, allowing guests to enjoy both your beautifully crafted cake and our selection of desserts as part of the dining experience.

05 Games & Cultural Performances

We offer generous open spaces and a dedicated dance floor, providing the ideal setting for games, entertainment, cultural performances, and group dances to be showcased during your reception. With flexible layouts, adaptable timing, and an experienced team to assist with staging and audio support, we ensure every tradition, performance, and moment of entertainment is respectfully supported and integrated between dinner service, speeches, and evening dancing.

06 First Dance and Open Floor

Kick off the evening with your first dance, elevated by a cold sparks machine following dinner service and speeches. The celebration continues with an open dance floor, supported by our in-house sound system and professional disco lighting, including moving head lights, laser effects, and a smoke machine for evening dancing. We support DJs, live bands, and cultural performances, ensuring your reception transitions smoothly from formal moments into the open floor.

07 Photo Opportunities and Guest Interaction

Enhance your reception with a range of photo opportunities throughout the venue, from onsite locations and open spaces suitable for styled backdrops, to outdoor areas for candid photographs during guest mingling throughout the evening. Interactive elements such as a photo booth, live guest book station, or Polaroid wall can also be accommodated within your reception layout, allowing guests to engage between dinner service, speeches, and open floor dancing.

08 Evening Send-Off

End your reception with a coordinated evening send-off. Choose from options such as a sparkler farewell or a vintage car departure, creating a memorable final moment following dancing to conclude your reception and bid farewell to your guests.

Can we host both ceremonies & receptions here?

We can host your ceremony and reception onsite, including cocktail hours between both programmes. We don’t charge any venue hire fees for weddings, as our packages are based on the number of guests attending (including yourselves).

How many guests can you accommodate?

Our reception spaces can accommodate weddings from intimate celebrations of 30 guests through to banquet-style seated receptions of up to 400 guests for dinner service and evening dancing.

Do you have overnight accommodation?

For couples wishing to extend their celebration following the wedding reception, our honeymoon suite accommodation is available as an optional upgrade, offering a private and elevated retreat to relax and celebrate in comfort after your wedding day.

Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party?

A complimentary standard bridal dressing room is included for your convenience, providing a private and comfortable space to prepare prior to the ceremony and reception, and refresh on the day.

For couples seeking additional space and enhanced styling, an upgraded luxe bridal dressing room is available as an optional upgrade, offering an elevated retreat to relax and celebrate in style.

How long can we have the venue till?

Our standard wedding package includes 7 hours of venue hire, starting from your guests’ arrival time at the reception. Venue hire extension is available. As a fully licensed venue, the latest reception conclusion time is 12:00am (midnight), allowing plenty of time for dinner service, speeches, and evening dancing.

The most gorgeous wedding venue in all of Auckland. When we visited, we knew it was the one. It is just as stunning in person as the photos of their website, if not more so, and looks amazing in wedding photos with gorgeous lighting and tasteful, elegant baroque-inspired decor. The grounds are also gorgeous with lots of options for ceremony locations and photos.

The team, led by Abigail and Jessie, had excellent communication leading up to wedding day, were always prompt with replying to emails, and went above and beyond at all times. We probably sent them about 40+ emails across the 10 months leading up to the wedding and they were friendly and detailed all the way through!

The buffet food was fantastic, with great options for customisation. They even state all allergens and other info on the buffet table (such as which foods contain garlic/onion) which our guests with dietary requirements really appreciated
